Reminder about H1N1 (Swine) Flu Precautions.
Please encourage your child to wash their hands frequently. Have them wash their hands as soon as they come home from school
Encourage them to cover their mouth and nose when they cough or sneeze, to use a tissue and then discard or into their sleeves.
Keep your child home if they are sick!
Your child should not return to school until they have not had a fever for 24 hours without using medication.
Please let Mary Lou know what symptoms your child has when they are out sick. We need to know if they have a fever over 100 and a sore throat, cough, runny or stuffy nose, and sore muscles.
Please get your children vaccinated for the regular seasonal flu and H1N1 flu as soon as vaccines are available.
If your child is high risk, has a chronic health condition ,please contact your family physician or pediatrician. Chronic health conditions would include asthma, diabetes etc.
