Hi! I am Jayne Jones, a Special Educator here at WRVS. I love being a part of the Wildcat Community – this is a very special place!
I grew up in Lebanon, NH. I graduated from Dartmouth College with my Bachelor’s Degree and then went to Lesley University for my Master’s Degree in Education and certification in Special Ed.. I started my teaching career in Arlington, MA. When my husband and I were expecting our third child, I took a break from teaching.
We moved to Piermont, NH when expecting our sixth child. A few years later, I became an At-Home Daycare Provider while our children grew and began their own life adventures. When our youngest was in college I returned to this profession which I love dearly.
Being here with these scholars and fellow staff members, and watching beautiful things happen every day, fills my heart! It is amazing to me to see new connections with ideas and knowledge take root in a student who didn’t understand something, or to watch young students building friendships together within this learning community. It is truly a blessing to be where kindness matters – and is celebrated!
In one of the hallways there is wall art that says, “Be the reason someone smiles today.” There are so many reasons to smile around here!!
