Hello, Pre-K Scholars and Families!

My name is Ashley Jacobs, and I am delighted to be your teacher at Waits River Valley School. I have been working in early childhood education for 23 wonderful years, and this is my fourth year with WRVS.

Education & Background 
I hold an Associate’s Degree in Child Development, a Bachelor’s Degree in Liberal Studies, and a Master’s Degree in Educational Leadership. These experiences have strengthened both my love for learning and my dedication to supporting young children as they discover the world around them.

Teaching Philosophy 
Although I’ve had the joy of working with children of many different ages, my heart belongs to preschool and Pre-K. The ages of 3 to 5 are a time of wonder, curiosity, and boundless imagination. Every day brings new discoveries, and it’s truly an honor to encourage, guide, and learn alongside young minds during such an important stage of growth.

A Bit About Me 
When I’m not in the classroom, you can often find me on the front porch with my husband and our two sweet dogs. We moved from the warm deserts of Arizona to the green hills of Vermont and have fallen in love with everything this beautiful state has to offer.  At home, I love cooking, gardening, and hosting lively family game nights filled with laughter.

Looking Ahead 
I cannot wait to share this year’s adventure with our Pre-K scholars. Together, we’ll explore, create, and grow in a classroom filled with curiosity, kindness, and joy.
